Number One - Short and Sweet

Have you ever decided to rearrange things in your life to shoot for your dreams? Well, maybe not really "rearrange things", per se, but more like figure out a way to squeeze in new disciplines in order to achieve a brand-new set of goals.

Do your dreams involve being a professional writer/author? Mine certainly do.

It's much easier said than done when you are married (to your best friend), have two (intelligent, beautiful, talented) daughters, a mortgage, and a full-time job. The challenge of finding time to actually write is the main hurdle in this new journey.

Since this is my first blog post, I'll keep it short and sweet. Just wanted to let you know, I'm diving in {SPLASH!!!}. At 39 years old, I feel like I need to push forward. I have always loved to write and feel like I'm actually pretty good at it (we'll soon see!). But I haven't really put myself or my work out there to be judged by others (which can certainly be scary).
